Melva Jane Dibert age 82 went home to her heavenly Father on Friday, July 12, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 10, 1936 to Ruth and Edson Pratt in Samaria, MI. She married Herb Dibert on September 19, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Temperance, MI and through their love they had 5 wonderful children and were blessed with 11 Grandchildren and 31 Great-Grandchildren.
Melva loved working in her garden, watching the birds and her sweets.Sheloved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart. She was an amazing prayer warrior and prayed for all her family and friends. She was a great example of Christ. Melva was the best Mother and Grandmother the Lord could have given us and she was our gift from Him.
Melva is proceeded in death by her loving husband Herb Dibert, infant daughter Baby Dibert, infant son Joel Edson, sister Marilyn Bagley and parents Ruth and Edson Pratt
She is survived by Wayne and Sandy Dibert, Doug and Rene Dibert, Velvet Keeler, Dawn and Brian Willingham and Scott Dibert
Visitation at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman Rd.) Temperance, Michigan, will begin on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Services on Saturday will begin at 10:00am where she will lie in state at Shelton Park Church of God, 8702 Douglas Road, Temperance, Michigan with services beginning at 11:00am.
Interment, Lambertville Cemetery, Lambertville, Michigan.
